Merry Christmas, Little Hoo!: Volume 3

-It’s Christmas Eve and Little Hoo should be sleeping. But there are so many interesting noises! Are there reindeer on the roof and elves in the kitchen? Join your favorite owl and find out in this Christmas story that will make December bedtime more fun for toddlers, preschoolers and even big kids who can’t help but believe in Christmas magic.

My Opinion:

Merry Christmas, Little Hoo! is a great little Christmas story that will delight even the older readers in your family.  This is a story that my husband loves to read to our youngest daughter.  Her response to this book has been exceptional!  She LOVES owls, and has since she was a baby, and because Little Hoo is so adorable it just makes her squeal.

We read this book to our 2 youngest children every night before bed this past December, it really is a cute little bedtime story.  The way Little Hoo thought every little noise was related to Santa in some way made the children laugh as he found out what the noises really were.  It reminds me of how my children both went to bed every night talking about reindeer, and how we HAD to make cookies to put out for Santa..  We HAD to buy carrots for the reindeer because they would be so hungry that they would eat all of Santas cookies.

Has Christmas in the title, im in!!

  2. We actually have been looking for new christmas books for the kids to take to school and for us to read at home during the season. I usually like to put 5 books out by the tree every year so we can pick one to read every night and then we have a chapter book we read after. This looks so cute!
